Claudia Bellusci tips us: "If you want your presentation to be advanced by clicking on navigation buttons, always remember to uncheck a box that reads something like (sorry, my PPT version is in Spanish): “Slide advanced” / “At the click of the mouse” in the Transitions menu. This way the mouse click will have no effect except when "you click on the right button.
